Force and Vibration Analysis of a PWM Inverter-Fed Induction Motor
The vibration emitted by an inverter-fed induction motor is investigated through a change in the carrier frequency and varying the values of voltage and frequency while maintaining constant the relation V/f of the inverter. And then, we discuss by using the analysis of the radial electromagnetic force of induction motors by the 2D non-linear finite element method considering the rotor current coupled with voltage equations. We analyze the radial force at the teeth and slots to clarify the influence of slip and the stator winding and the difference between the line source and a PWM inverter.
